Dry Diamond Core Drill:

Hilti DD110-D Dry Diamond Core suitable for drilling through soft materials such as brick and breeze block upto a diameter of 163mm. Extension Bars available for deep holes. Vacuum attachment for dust collection also available.
Full range of dry diamond cores available from 22mm to 152mm. Cores are charged on a wear charge only basis when hired in conjunction with a drill. There is a minimum charge which allows for 0.1mm of wear on the tip and then an addition charge for each further 0.1mm used. Generally speaking one hole through a 9 inch brick wall will only use 0.1mm. These cores cannot be used for concrete, engineering bricks or other hard materials. |
Hand Held Wet Diamond Core Drill:

Wet Diamond Drilling is for drilling holes through hard materials such as reinforced concrete, engineering bricks etc.
The hand held core is ideal for drilling smaller holes on walls or floors, must be used with water to keep cores cool and suppress dust.
Again a full range of cores are available, the maximum diameter the drill can make is 135mm.
Cores to be charged on a wear basis. |
Rig Mounted Wet Diamond Core Drill:

The Wet Diamond Drilling Rig is for drilling larger holes in hard materials. The rig can be secured in position using either an anchoring bolt or if suitable an acrow prop. Once in place will drill through floors. Again needs to be used with water. |
